D&D MiniaturesSLA printers are absolutely incredible for miniatures! In terms of other 3D printing projects, I still prefer the trusty FDM printer, but I also haven't played with the more durable resins at all.
It absolutely amazes me how I'm able to make a toy out of the comfort of my own office. When I was a kid, there was no way I would have thought things like this were capable at such a small scale for consumers in the short distance of ~2020. Using light to harden a resin into incredibly complex shapes is just awesome! I have miniatures literally all over my home depending on their state. Do they need to be painted? Are they ready for gameplay? Do I need to hide them to surprise the players? So I ran around my house taking pictures of my various clusters of miniatures. See if you recognize any characters from the Diablo & Warcraft universes. |
